The Emperor of India, a local Indian restaurant, approached
us looking for a website. Just 2 weeks later their site was
completed and launched.
Features
include a full menu, photos of the restaurant inside and out,
plus a contact form.
The site has rich colours designed to reflect the strong
flavours typical of the North Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine
on offer.
A special feature is the bookings page which takes bookings from visitors.
They specify the date, how many people and whether the table is smoking or non-smoking.
This information is then emailed and also sent by mobile phone text message to
the restaurant. This enables the restaurant to respond very quickly to the booking
request and confirm the table. View a
screen shot of the "book a table" page.
Hidden keywords and search engine optimisation plus submitting
the site to the major search engines completed the service.
The site was launched on 25 November 2003.
By February 2004 the site was available on the first page of Google using the
search term "indian restaurant maidenhead".
The site is no longer maintained by ClockTowerWeb.
