The site's general page layout needs to be both attractive
and functional. Information should be laid out in a logical
sequence, with important features more prominent than the
less important parts.
One
site where we have achieved this is on a virtual catalogue
site, where a lot of information has to be shown, as well
as a product photograph - see right. Important navigation
buttons are shown at the top and the product photograph itself
takes up a large percentage of screen space - important because
that's what the site is selling. The main feaures and facts
about the product are shown to the right of the photograph,
with the less important information shown below where visitors
can scroll down and view the details.
Check out our portfolio
for this site and others that we've created.
