This school approached us as a result of a personal recommendation - that's always good to hear. Their old website was not delivering in any areas and they wanted a site which they could keep up to date themselves.

This is the second website we have created for the school. The first used pencil-style navigation to fit with the school's infant age range. The second version was launched in 2015. We worked with key staff to create a fresh modern and more mature look which fits with their uniform and logo colours.

The website is responsive which means it works well on all screen sizes - from the largest desktop to a mobile phone.

The content management system we use allows authorised staff to update any page from an administration area. Different staff members are given a suitable level of access. For example, teachers can access the class pages only and senior secretarial staff can manage the content of all pages in the website.

The website features an emergency message area which staff can use to display urgent or important information.

The website also includes a search facility, image gallery, school calendar and a site map.

We visited the school for CMS Made Simple training sessions, so the staff could become confident in the use of the administration area when updating the site. Later, a password protected secure area was added to the site to enable the school governors to share documents with each other; another advanced feature of the content management system we use.
