This infant school had an existing website that wasn't serving its users properly and was tricky to update.
We provided a solution using their home-grown images and layout ideas, including a beautiful tapestry-style portrayal of the historic school building which is shown on the home page.
We coupled the design with a CMS (Content Management System) which has been very well received by school staff. Authorised members of staff can now login from anywhere and update the website content whenever they like. The CMS includes a calendar section which contains details of the school's events.
The website also includes a gallery showing photos from events and around the school. Statistics confirm the gallery is a popular part of the site and it shows the school off at its best.
The website also presents information which is required to be in the public domain such as the school's "pupil premium."
The improved website is an important tool for the school in its quest for better Ofsted recognition.
