This website looks straightforward to the normal visitor but has a lot of protected content which is only available to company employees who can login to view it.
The system we produced handles new users by allowing them to register for access to the site. This registration is then approved by head office by logging in to the system and checking the user's details. Only then does the user have access. Lost passwords are handled automatically without the need for staff intervention.
There are two levels of user with access to the website - employee and manager; the manager has more options available including an interactive calendar system where the location of fellow managers can be seen.
As usual a content management system allows company staff to update the site with fresh content whenever required.
